I don't know if you guys have heard of this, but I thought I would pass it on. I know this is a Super-8 board, but I like to share.
I just read about this interesting new format for 16mm called Ultra 16mm. It's an alternative to Super-16. The modification to the camera is a fraction of what a Super-16 converion is and you can use the same lens that as regular 16. It basically takes the frame line .7 mm into the sprocket
area between sprocket holes. It's perfect for blow-ups to 35mm with only a marginal quality difference from Super-16.

Actually, I had already posted it on Neil's (aka Jocko) topic thread about needing crew for a 16mm project. I think I credited you.
The more film formats, the merrier.
It'll take longer for the digital heathens to take us down.
